About Joy A. Pearson-Schneck

Joy A. Pearson-Schneck received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Penn State in 1997, and her J.D., from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2000. Ms. Pearson-Schneck, Esquire is a founding partner of the law firm of Berg & Pearson PC since its inception in 2003 and has been involved in numerous family matters since that time.

Ms. Pearson-Schneck’s emphasis is family law, including divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, spousal support, domestic violence, emancipation, name changes, drafting and negotiating of Marital Settlement Agreements, and post-judgment matters. Ms. Pearson-Schneck believes in placing her clients’ interests first and appreciates the need for client contact!

She has served as a member to the District IV Ethics Committee for the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Ms. Pearson-Schneck also served as member for one year of the National Organization for Victim Assistance and was awarded “Awesome Attorney” for years 2009 through the present by South Jersey Magazine. Ms. Pearson-Schneck also spoke to Temple University School of Law regarding the issue of Mothering and Lawyering. Ms. Pearson-Schneck serves as a Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Ms. Pearson-Schneck was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and U.S. District Court of New Jersey in 2000.
